Sarees: Six yards of pure grace and art

Ever since I remember I always loved wearing sarees. It not only makes me feel beautiful but also gives me utter joy and satisfaction of dressing. So here is little glimpse into my treasure of sarees.

Perfect Shade of Pink Saree

If you have perfect shade pink chiffon saree with stripes and floral print then you know God must be conspiring in your favour. But No this is not the case with me. After searching for years finally I had to take things in my hand. So I designed it myself God has nothing to do with it.

Bridesmaid's Saree

Yes, I wore it on my childhood best friend's wedding. I wanted something simple elegant but standout piece. So when I layed my eyes on this saree, I knew this is the one. This musk melon coloured marble fabric saree has very detailed and intricate thread embroidery which makes it traditional yet trendy.

Bengal Cotton Silk Saree

I always wanted to own traditional bengali saree. I have a thing for cotton saree and I just love this white and red combination.

So when my next door neighbour who's happens to be Bengali gifted me this saree you can't imagine my happiness. 

Nude Simple Saree

This is must have if you want to look elegant but play with your jewellery and makeup. This nude saree with minimal detailing will accentuate everything you wear as jewellery or makeup. As a bonus it's a perfect pick for your office's traditional day

Mekhela Chador

This saree is native of Assam and it is fully hand embroidered. The finishing this saree has I don't think any machine can achieve that perfection. When you see this saree you may not like it in one glance but when you wear it you will fall in love with this saree instantly. It hugs you so graciously its like you are wearing flowers. One last and very important thing it's the art piece so you have to treat it artfully to accentuate its aesthetics. Pleat it perfectly, team it with nice sleeveless blouse, wear minimal jewellery and red rose is always a good idea if you are going for traditional yet trendy look and voilaaa.

White Saree

I have strange obsession for white sarees. So yeah, you will find many in my collection. Actually it gives me freedom to experiment around them. When you have bold colour sarees then there's nothing left to do, it's complete look in itself. But when you have white saree and you know how to wear it, nothing can beat it on sensual scale.

Red Saree

What.....plain red saree is a plain red saree. You have to have it. No explanation. End of story.

Designer Saree

Usually I am not into these designer glittery sarees. I am more of a traditional Indian native saree kind of person. But good thing is good thing whether its traditional or designer and when it gives you perfect amount of glitter with black colour what else you need just grab it.

Banarasi Saree

This is also a must have saree to anyone's saree collection. But these saree take away the trendy quotient and leaves you with only traditional. So there's a solution to this problem wear this saree on lehenga half saree pattern and here you are...Everyone is looking at you with awe and admiration.

Pure Ghicha Silk

This fabric saree is my favourite. These sarees lends a look which is every woman's dream classy and fabulous. This saree is very easy to wear and takes the perfect shape and top it all easy to carry, durable and long lasting. No doubt you would see every second saree of mine in this material.
